We were deeply saddened by the death of Pres. Cory. It was a very touching experience watching all the events from the time Noy noy announced her death up to the funeral. Me and my family were all glued to TFC as we watched the events. It eas also atime for me n my husband to tell our children what she and Ninoy has done to our country. We hope our people live up to what she fought for and may she remain an inspiration and example to all of us. Mabuhay ang Pilipinas.

To the Aquino Family, kindly accept our deep condolences for the untimely demise of Tita Cory.
It's been almost a month and yet until to this date my family, including my mom, still grieves and mourns the death of Madame Cory Aquino. Certainly, she is our national icon just as your late father is a national hero.
My mom and I were in constant vigil prayer even while Tita Cory was rushed to the hospital. Our prayers ever constant when we learned of her untimely death. When we learned of her death in the news and throughout the entire coverage of her funeral [we watched it via the TFC channel, we were always in tears and in pain as if we have lost one of our own in the family.
We were in this circumstantial emotional state because Tita Cory knew my late father [Ulbert Ulama "Bob” Tugung] and my mom [Elnorita Tugung]. Because of the trust and confidence that Tita Coty have reposed in them, both my Dad and Mom have humbly served in her administration in their capacity as Chairman of the defunct Regional Autonomous Government [Lupong Tagapagpaganap ng Pook]in Region IX. My Mom took over the position of my late father after he was assassinated [it was politically motivated] on November 22, 1986. By the way, it was Tingting Cojuangco that connected my parents to Tita Cory.
My late father was one among the few eminent Muslim leaders in the country that bravely and sincerely supported Tita Cory because he has always truly believe in the cause of Ninoy Aquino and Tita Cory.
And in so far as I am concern, I became involved, or was introduced to active politics, right after the death of Ninoy. And thus, during the candidacy of Tita Cory for President, and during the revolution, I became so actively and passionately involved in her campaign because I was a genuine believer in the cause of Ninoy and Tita Cory for the Filipino people, which stands until today! Call it a “rite of passage” in politics, that was it.
Our loyalty and steadfast belief in the Aquino family has never waned despite our migration to America in 1999. Thus, we supported all the noble endeavors of Tita Cory and the candidacy of Noynoy. Trust me, because of our loyalty to Ninoy and Tita Cory, our support to the Aquino family will continue even beyond my lifetime because my children will certainly soldier on in my behalf. They know the rationale because my mom and I have personally regale them with stories regarding the valiant role Ninoy and Tita Cory have acted for the cause of the entire Filipino nation [Forever etch in my heart and my memory bank - "The Filipino people is worth dying for."
Our political supporters in Basilan, whom I am always in contact with as I call them at least once a month and visit them once a year [I will be home again this coming November for the 23rd death anniversary of my late father and this time I will also find time to pay my respects at the grave of Tita Cory while I will be in transit in Manila to Basilan] have also enjoined with us in grieving and mourning Tita Cory's death. They were with me and my late father when we defied the odds and the threats at the time when we campaign for Tita Cory and when we waged acts of peaceful defiance during the EDSA revolution.
Rest assured, because of our profound and firm faith and belief to Ninoy and Tita Cory, you will always have the support of our political supporters and my family's support.
