Even the moon mourned those nights Not even a thick shroud can hide Its hollowed face dimming with sight The darkness covered the world every side.
Inside this church, eyes are fixed On cloaked flesh dressed to greet hello To different emotions of Pinoys mixed With sadness and grief bracing with sorrow.
Waiting for their turn to couch With a handkerchief, even to kiss The lady’s coffin facing with no grouch As she goes to an eternal bliss.
Even the sun mourns in daylight As it parts its ashened veil And stretches out its beams alright Following a famous EDSA trail.
To a mother hushing her children A devotee mouthing her prayers To God’s child coming back to her den Of peace and love, she conquered the slayers.
A woman in yellow who met the Pope To each Filipino may it be a memory The promising sound of hope Giving a ravished country with democracy.

to our late president cory aquino, you inspired every filipino for what you did for our country. youre really our mother. iam only 27 but i can truly feel the love you and your husband gave to all filipino people. you will forever be in our hearts. you are always in our prayers. and as you always wish, we will pray for each other and for leaders and for our country. to the aquino family, iam just always wondering how wonderful it was to have a mom like mommy cory? you were all blessed.
We are all blessed!, and now prouder to be a filipino because of YOU, Our President!!!

Thank you President Cory. hindi ko man naabutan ang leadership mo noong araw,nararamdaman ko nmn ang kalayaan n ibinigay mo s ating bansa.
Isa kang inang ngbigay ng liwanag di lamang sa iyong pamilya, pati n rin sa ating bansa sa panahon na tayo ay nalulugmok sa kahiran.
Binigayan mong muli ng kinang ang bituin at sinag ang araw ng ating bandila at kilalaning muli sa buong mundo.
Naging isa kang halimbawa para sa mga single-mom na naging matatag n itinagyod ang pamilya.
