My sincerest condolences to the Conjuangco and Aquino families and friends. "Tita Cory," as many Filipinos have already cherished to calling her, has continued what Ninoy has tried to do all his life for the country. I was born during their rise and fall in the life of the Philippines and empathize with many of the endeavors each one has undertaken for the love of the Philippines. However, what Tita Cory has done as a President and a former President, no one in the country's history comes close to her. To bring sincerity, honesty, humility, the warmth and discipline of a parent, God-fearing, faithful, devoted and with full of compassion -- all these traits wrapped into politics is a very, very remarkable achievement. She deserves to be our hero. She deserves to be our "National Hero."

THanks Tita Cory for being such a good and wonderful president. I hope your family will continue what you did to our country. It is hard for us to let you go but its ok because its your time to see Ninoy and your time to rest and belong to God. I wish I could do something in exchange but you have passed away. I will continue praying for you and I will tell people how much you loved our country and to be a filipino. i wish everyone is going to be like you. :]

Condolence to the Aquino family. This is the only thing we can do since we are very far. If only manila is just a ride a away, for sure we will be one of those thousands of people that waited rain or shine just to express our sympathy in the least way we can. We are from Zamboanga City and during the funeral day, we were just in front of the tv watching everything that happened. Every time i remember that President Cory has left us already, i can't help not to be sad and sometimes teary eyed. While her children are crying, i also cried. It seems like i can also feel the pain that they felt. She's such a good woman, mother and most of all our hero. We owe so much to her. Ninoy and Kris please continue what your parents had started. Don't let the devil takes away the democracy that your parents had given back to us!... Thank you so much Madam President CORY.. We will never forget you!.. GOD BLESS...

Thank you Tita Cory, the values that you have shared to us will always be etched in our hearts. These are the values that can be passed on to the next generation. We will always be proud to tell our grandchildren how great you are. You are a true hero. We believe that you are now in heaven with our Creator. I only pray that your family will continue to move on. Philippines has quite lost its shape, now that you are gone. But we will not put to waste everything that you fought for. We will carry on, continue to serve our nation. You will be missed, Tita Cory! You are one unique woman.

i was in edsa with my 3yrs old son and my ex-husband when it was announced that marcos had left the country. my son and i were a part of 1986 edsa revolution which made us attached to her since then by being a loyal cory followers. i really followed the news about her since she was confined in the hospital. my attachment to the people power revolution of 1986 made me really so sad when she was finally declared dead on august 01. i couldn't hold down my tears everytime i watched her on t.v. knowing she was no longer the same cory aquino whom i can see alive on t.v. her funeral day was a very lonely day for every filipinos yet so memorable coz filipinos here and abroad and people around the world had showed love and admiration to her unselfish service to our country and for her being a simple, humble and adorable mother not only to her children but to all the filipinos. I SALUTE YOU OUR DEAR PRESIDENT CORAZON C. AQUINO! REST IN PEACE WITH YOUR BELOVED HUSBAND AND ALSO A HERO, NINOY AQUINO!
