Tita Cory... I was 14 when Ninoy died. And honestly, that was only the first time I have heard of Ninoy, and of his family. I was so sheltered and naive. By the time I joined you in EDSA in 1986, I felt I was a whole new being. You were there as my inspiration during my whole political transformation. And even now. I might not have agreed with all of your decisions but one thing I knew without a doubt - you only have God and the Filipino people in your heart and mind. Thank you - for taking away my naivete and for giving me and so many others like me an inspiration.

maraming, maraming salamat po sa inyo Pres.Cory.

I would like to share with all of you how proud I was to be part of the EDSA Revolution that Pres. Tita Cory led. I was 17 then but the feeling was great. Her loss, hopefully would not mean the end of everything that she had worked, hoped and prayed for the Filipinos! Thank you Tita Cory! We'll be missing you!

I am an American but the the EDSA People Power Revolution that brought Mrs. Aquino to power is indelibly stamped upon my memory. I remember being in awe of her strength and utter simplicity of her being. Her life was dedicated to others--at first her husband and children and then to the nation at large. In a time when many of our leaders seek office to enhance their own fortunes, her example of selflessness and sacrifice should remind them what service is all about. You were a beacon of light here on earth. You will be sorely missed Madam President. May God bless you and keep you forever.
